Description
Intradigm Corporation, a Palo Alto–based biopharmaceutical company developing siRNA therapeutics and delivery methods for oncology applications.  Intradigm has an opening for an experienced scientist with a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry to support technology development. Our technology involves nanoparticle formulation of interfering RNA to achieve targeted delivery. 

Reporting to the Vice President of Technology, the Senior/Principal Analytical Scientist will lead analytical methods development to support physicochemical characterization of the product in preparation for a regulatory IND filing. He/she will set up and equip the laboratory, and identify and prioritize analytical methods needed to develop as well as assay that need to be performed on routine basis. Moreover, he/she will help to identify contract analytical laboratories and will have primary responsibility for successful assay method transfer into and out of Intradigm. The Senior Scientist will be one of the authors of the CMC section of the IND. The incumbent may have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements
Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or related discipline and 5-8 years experience in analytical chemistry in an industry environment. Experience with nanoparticle characterization is preferred.  Hands-on experience in analytical methods development is essential.  Experience with the following methods is important: HPLC, GPC, MS, IR, NMR, dynamic light scattering, zeta potential, and field flow fractionation. Familiarity with methods development for QC, an understanding of regulatory requirements and prior experience in contributing to a regulatory submission (IND, NDA) is preferred.  Ability to manage contract analytical labs, good interpersonal skills, team orientation, and strong work ethic are expected.

Description
Intradigm Corporation, a Palo Alto-based biopharmaceutical company developing siRNA-based agents for oncology, has an opening for a scientist in parenteral formulations development. Our technology combines nanoparticle delivery with interfering RNA to achieve targeted therapeutics. 

Reporting to head of Formulation Development, the Formulation Scientist will develop nanoparticle formulations from novel macromolecular conjugates and siRNA.  He/She is expected

  1. to perform the experimental formulation development work, to document the results, and to provide updates at departmental meetings and in reports; 
  2. help creation and validation of new methods, techniques, products, and intellectual property of Intradigm;
  3. and to help support efforts leading to a regulatory IND filing.

Requirements
Ideal candidates will have undergraduate or M.Sc. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics or pharmaceutical sciences and some experience in formulations or product development. Ideally the incumbent will have experience in parenteral formulations of biologics, nucleic acids, or traditional parenteral drug formulations. Knowledge of polymers, nucleic acids is desirable, as is experience and interpretive skills in various analytical techniques, e.g. HPLC, PAGE, MS.  A high level of creativity, self-motivation, attention to detail, and scientific reasoning is required.  Familiarity with GMP, understanding of regulatory requirements and prior experience in helping with regulatory submission (IND, NDA) is an advantage.  Ability to perform as an individual contributor and as a team member, good interpersonal skills, and strong work ethic are expected.

Description
Intradigm Corporation, Palo Alto-based biopharmaceutical company developing novel siRNA-based formulations for oncology, has an opening for a scientist with a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in chemistry to support its R&D.  Our technology combines polymer-based nanoparticle delivery with interfering RNA technology to achieve targeted therapeutics. 

Reporting to Director of Synthetic Chemistry, the incumbent will develop novel macromolecular conjugates and linkers for our formulations.  He/She is expected

  1. to have experience in organic synthesis, preparation of bioconjugates, derivatives of biologically active molecules, and to apply this expertise toward the goals of Intradigm; 
  2. to contribute to creation of new methods, technologies, products, and intellectual property of Intradigm;
  3. and to perform the required experimental work, to document, and report the results.

He/she will have primary responsibility for developing innovative approaches to preparation and of the needed constructs and for methods transfer to Process and Product Development. The Scientist may contribute to CMC section for regulatory filings.

Requirements
Ideal candidates will have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in chemistry or equivalent, and some relevant experience, preferably in industrial environment. Experience in handling and purification of macromolecular conjugates including chromatography, is desirable.  Hands-on experience in the development of synthesis methods, linking chemistries, and characterization of products using NMR, MS, and chromatography is also desirable.  The candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills, team orientation, and strong work ethic.

Sc. in chemistry (analytical) or Pharmaceutical Science to support technology our development. Our technology combines polymer-based nanoparticle-based delivery with interfering RNA technology. 

Reporting to the Director of Analytical Chemistry, the Scientist will develop essential assays to support the formulation development effort, document the results, prepare reports and relevant presentations.  He/she will characterize the preparations of siRNA-containing nanoparticles and design and execute stability studies.  He/she will help to set up and purchasing of essential instrumentation.  Moreover, he/she will help to identify contract analytical laboratories for testing that is to be outsourced.  The Scientist will assist and participate in preparation of regulatory IND filing.

Requirements
Ideal candidates will have an undergraduate degree or M. S. in chemistry, biology or pharmaceutical sciences, and preferably, some experience in industry environment. Experience developing assays, working with chromatography, electrophoresis, and / or spectroscopy is preferred. Familiarity with methods development for QC and an understanding of regulatory requirements is preferred.  Good interpersonal skills, team orientation, and strong work ethic are expected.
